Greetings Jab Support,

I discovered a dent of sorts on my propeller lead edge, at approximately 23 - 23 -1/2" from the propeller root, approximately 14mm in length. I can only assume that a rock impacted the propeller during my run-up. Please take a look at the attachment and asses please. The indented portion does not flex  which I assume that the urethane coating and fiberglass was indented from the impact but did not compromise the underlayment. What would be the repair procedure for this?

Cheers,

Alex -

Hello Alex,

Is any of the damaged loose?  Is the impacted piece of urethane still firmly attached?

If it is it makes the repair a lot simpler.

Greetings Jab support,

i just realized ai posted a propeller issue on the airframe topic! Sorry. To answer your question, the affected area does not have loose material, urethane and the fiberglass. It seems quite solidly in place. Thanks for your quick response.

PS. Oh, and it’s assess, not asses!! 🤣

Hello Alex,

I didn't even notice. 😀   Anyway I moved it to the propeller section.

I get back to you soon with a repair.
