My FDS T30 tach failed. I'd like to install a VDO tach instead. What model is recommended, and how do I do the setup for alternator
pulses as RPM source?

Hello,
Jabiru is able to supply the VDO tacho (and pickup to suit) It is the model with an hourmeter below the needle. Vdo tacho's don't read off the alternator on the jabiru engine. They use an inductive pickup that counts tags on the back of the flywheel.
