I am in the UK with a generation 4 engine 33A 2862 with 204 hours on the clock. It is an excellent engine. No complaints. I've been offered a free upgrade/ change for the pistons. I'll happily arrange this but as this is a significant bit of work to have done on the engine I'd be interested to know what has prompted the need to change the pistons. Can you give any more details please?

Hello Peter,
The piston upgrade is recommended because it is an exactly that, an upgrade. Early Gen 4 engines used a version of the Gen 3 pistons.
The upgraded design is optimised for use in the aluminium barrels.
