Is there any reason the factory fitted baffle over #5 cyl is further back over the head than over #6 cyl head. I can't get #5 cht down to near match others.
The only reason would be that, that is where it was found to work best in most applications. I am guessing from your rego that you are in South Africa, so you could ask Shadowlight if they have a specific reason.
Otherwise, if you feel that there is a better location, move it and test. Also have a look at engine installation manual that is available on www.jabiru.net.au. It has some guidance on tuning the cooling of an installation.
