I see that others are experiencing a slight leak from the oil pump housing, as I have been. I went after that problem several times, including making sure mating surfaces are ruler-flat, new O-rings, etc. I finally talked on the phone with a lab tech at Loctite-- when I mentioned "aluminum engine" he said "There's the problem. Loctite 515 will not bond to aluminum." There is a Loctite catalyst that you can mix with 515 to get it to work, but he said easier to just get 518, as it already has the catalyst in it.
Doug, I would urge you to confirm what I was told, and to update the engine manuals.
