2200 twin exhaust outlets

( same single muffler, 2 outlets ).....

I see references to single outlets and twin outlets, my question.......is adapting / modifying to 2 outlets better or not ??? which ever is the 2017 option........why

Originally all Jabiru exhausts had 2 outlets but they were always a pain to make work around the nose leg - one side goes out nicely, the other needs a massive kink (due to the engine thrust offset). So a few years back we changed to single outlets (with a much bigger, straight, outlet pipe). They actually flow a bit better than the twin outlets without being significantly noisier.
The difference isn't really worth chasing - if you've got a 2 outlet muffler and it's working OK then leave it alone - but the single is the current configuration.
