Want to buy a 44" wooden prop for my 2200 engine

The plane has flown great for nearly 20 years, but I would like a few more knots and reckon this is worth try.

I'm hoping that somebody has upgraded their prop and has a surplus 44" wooden prop for sale.

Hello Bruce,

If you do try a coarser pitch prop you should measure your cruise manifold pressure before and after fitment to make sure that you aren't running at excessive power.  21 inches in the cruise is a good number.  With the jabiru engine rpm doesn't hurt and probably the best and safest way to gain cruise speed is to cruise at a higher rpm.
