I have a J230 SP.
I am considering installation of a trim tab autopilot from Levil aviation. The documentation discusses need to check and possibly balance the aileron and elevator after installation of the tab and servo. I am not the builder and I could not find any references to balancing control surfaces in the build documentation. If I disconnect the aileron it drops.
Does anyone have experience or insight to share?

Sections: 6.53.4, 6.65.3. 6.74. 21.4 and Table 21-1
The trim system could be added for an ELSA or EAB, but is not approved for SLSA.
