My Jabiru J 170 is 10 years this year and I wonder when it is due to change the blue silicone fuel lines. They are not blue anymore but have turned clear.

Hello Borge,
We don't have a calendar time in the manual for replacement of the fuel lines firewall back. It is on condition. In our experience that blue fuel line can become brittle. We would recommend changing it after that time. A good test of its test is to flex the fuel line and see if it develops surface cracks or is brittle. You would need to check to this test on all parts of the fuel line as we have seen instances where only a small section is brittle (e.g. between wing root and fuselage).
