Hi
This EFIS came with the plane as new in 2011. It has dead pixels on the screen which hinders reading the altitude. Ever since flying in hot conditions, the unit won’t go out of error code “Temp out of spec”. Even when flying in normal conditions it still shows the error and nothing on it works.
I’ve tried entering a manual OAT to no avail.
Is there an agent in Australia that can service the unit? Dynon in the States offer a “flat fee” US$450 plus shipping but I’m wondering if this can be seen to here.

Hi,
We've always returned the units to the states to be fixed. I'm not aware of anyone local (Australia) who can fix them.
