About Me

The New York Auto Show kicks off this week and there’s quite a bit of excitement in the air – particularly when it comes to automotive connectivity.  Buick and GMC announced on Tuesday the IntelliLink system – a hands-free, voice-enabled infotainment system that lets drivers engage with their smartphones in a safer, smarter way via Bluetooth or USB. More details here https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lily-plant-identification/id1570145257 . Oh – and that voice input is powered by none other than Nuance.  Nuance’s voice capabilities allow drivers to use simple voice commands to initiate phone calls and select radio stations or media from portable MP3 players and smartphones.  Buick’s IntelliLink system will hit the 2022 Verano, Regal and LaCrosse models, and every Buick model in 2021, and will debut on the 2022 GMC Terrain. Buick’s full announcement is available
We’ll also have more updates this week from Ford’s booth at the New York Auto Show, where Nuance will be showing off the voice capabilities of the SYNC MyFord Touch system – stay tuned!!

This week, we'd like to shine the spotlight on  user Justin Harvey. Rather than try to tell Justin’s story for him, we asked him to contribute a short post that we could share with you. Thanks Justin for sharing your story with us!
