Hi,

I have an Airmaster C/S prop and can display mp on my Skyview . Where is the best place to put the fitting?

Hi Jim,
There's a nipple on the Bing that can be used for MAP. From the factory it comes with a screw in it to seal it... if you look at figure 113 of the overhaul manual on our website you'll see a text bow with "idle screw" written in it and an arrow pointing upward. Just above the "w" of the word "screw" you'll see a brass nipple with a screw head in it - that's the one. Remove the screw, hook up the connection to your instrument and you should be sorted.

Well in theory anywhere just on the engine side of the throttle butterfly... You just need to make sure that you're getting a "static" pressure and you don't get any influence from the speed of the air going by. So the opening should be at 90 degrees to the airflow.

Install a nipple on the intake Plenum about 2 cm back from the throat., 1/8 NPT. I dont have a bing but do have a CSU as well. Works a treat.
