Dear Jabiru,
I live in Italy and I own a Jabiru 2200c engine, purchased in 2015 by Jabiru Italia, with a propeller 2 Blade Jabiru 2200 Ground Adjustable Propeller, this is the link: http://www.sensenich.com/products/item/137#specialfeatures
This engine I have to install on a Sonerai 2 Mid Wing. I wanted to have some tips to set the pitch better. For Take Off, the required MAX speeds are 3300 RPM, which is the minimum number of RPMs for a Take Off?

Sorry for my bad english

Best Regards!!

Nik

Hi Nik,
Your English is a lot better than my Italian!

I found this in the engine installation manual:
Nominally, all propellers must be able to obtain 2800rpm static and 3150rpm to 3300rpm wide open throttle straight and level. However, in some particularly low-drag airframes it may be necessary to use a propeller which does not achieve 2800 static rpm. In these cases propellers should be chosen based on their RPM at wide open throttle (straight and level flight)

Because your Sonerai is low drag you will have to set the propeller based on in-flight RPM: set the pitch so that you can get near to 3300 RPM at full power, straight and level (doing this test near sea level is preferred). With the prop set like that you should get close to 2800 RPM during a full power ground run.
Being an Experimental aircraft you can set the propeller differently if you like, but that should be the starting point.
Regards,
Doug.
