Having problems on starts, 3300 with Bing carb.

fires, then quits. Won’t start below 60F without heat.

what jet sizes should be used, I’m at 4300 elevation.

Does anyone use the Aeroinjector, is starting easier with that system?

thanks

If it starts on the choke it can take 5 mins or more, depending on the temperature, to warm up enough to run without choke.

It is normal to start with choke.  Is this a change from its normal behaviour?

If it isn't, it is worth trying to adjust the idle mixture. If it won't idle without choke  the idle mixture is too lean.  If idle mixture adjustment isn't enough you can try going to a larger idle jet.

Talked to Bing support, excellent help.

The choke jet in the bottom of the float bowl can be changed, went up 2 sizes on that, adjusted air adjustment screw to 1/12 turns out, changed main jet to 250 from 255,

starts better, gained 200 feet per minute climb, runs much better.

I’m at 4300 elevation. May go up one size on idle jet, still misses till it’s warmed up.

much better starts!😁

Let me ask you, such a small modification will not affect the service life or warranty service?
