Fantastic news, cars haven’t had a Carburettor since the 1990’s..over 30 years ago..No more carb ice, better fuel economy..

Seems an awfully hot spot to put a fuel injector ? The fuel flow will cool it in operation but the heat soaking on shutdown is going to be something else. I have several patents on exhaust mounted DEF injectors. I would expect a lot of coking problem in the future.

Well the carburetor system on the Jabs is not broke, so how about focusing on the door system which is broke and has been for decades. These doors need a handle to close them with and an over center locking mechanism to hold them shut and eliminate the gaps around the doors after they’re shut. I set in a “ just arrived “ Jab from the factory with only a few hours on it and after you closed the pilot door there was a gap around the bottom of the door! And the two that I owned had the same problem. If Jab spent as much time engineering a new door unit and corresponding mating surface on the fuselage, a great plane would be made better. Let the naysaying begin…..

Hopefully they have price tags on them ?

Now please re-instate the sale of std size pistons for the G2 engine in the US. I needed 1 piston last year at my annual condition inspection and couldnt get one. Yet I know for a fact that std pistons are sold for the gen 2 engine in Australia and in ZA. Having a customer do an entire $7500 top overhaul because of 1 piston is completely unethical.

Beautiful!
